As always, trade unions, activists and angry community members will be protesting about a delicatessen of issues during the Tory Party Conference, which begins in Manchester on Sunday 29th September.
First up is an expected huge march organised by The People's Assembly, which begins at noon from Oxford Road in Manchester, and then goes as near as possible to the Conference venue at Manchester Central (GMex), before heading down Deansgate to Cathedral Gardens.
"You can be sure the Tories will continue with the lie that 'austerity is over' for the third time running at their annual conference" states The People's Assembly "It will be as great a lie this year as it has been in previous years.
"We know that austerity is burning through working people's lives inflicting poverty and hardship on millions of families" it adds "It has to stop. That's why we are demonstrating outside the Tory Party Conference in Manchester. Once and for all this government must know austerity has to end.
"The Tory Party has reduced this country to one almighty mess" it concludes "Poisonously divided amongst themselves, they should've left office in disgrace months ago..."
Meanwhile, at 2pm on Sunday, March for Change and Manchester for Europe are holding a Defend Democracy march which meets at Whitworth Park on Oxford Road. It then heads to the Tory Party Conference venue before ending with a rally at Castlefield Bowl.
And on Monday, 30th September, there's a Prorogue the Tory Party Conference protest by Manchester Disabled People Against Cuts, between noon and 3pm in St Peter's Square, Manchester.
