SALFORD HAS 166 NEW CORONAVIRUS CASES AS RAUNCHY DREAMS INVADE LOCKDOWN

Star date: 16th January 2021

COVID STRESS MEANS MORE INTENSE SEX DREAMS

Salford has 166 new coronavirus cases, down from the previous day's 185, while the seven day rate per 100,000 population now stands at 457, down from 470.6. There have been two new virus-related deaths at Salford Royal Hospital.

Meanwhile, coronavirus crisis stress has led to more intense sexual dreams, according to sex and relationship coach Lucy Rowett. Unrelated to this, 80% of people surveyed in the UK said they would have the COVID-19 jab, the second highest in the world.

Salford has 166 new coronavirus cases, down from the previous day's 185, bringing the cumulative total to 17,783. The seven day average of cases has decreased to 1,183, down from 1,218, while the seven day rate per 100,000 population now stands at 457, down from 470.6.

Elsewhere in Greater Manchester, the seven day average of cases in Bury is 867 (down from 896), with a seven day rate per 100,000 population of 454 (down from 469.1); Bolton 1,091 (down from 1,100), with a rate of 379.4 (down from 382.5); Manchester 2,631 (down from 2,687), with a rate of 475.9 (down from 486); and Oldham 864 (down from 894), with a rate of 364.4 (down from 377).

Rochdale has a seven day average of cases of 908 (down from 959), with a seven day rate of 408.3 (down from 431.2); Stockport 1,202 (up from 1,196), with a rate of 409.6 (up from 407.6); Tameside 826 (down from 845), with a rate of 364.7 (down from 373.1); Trafford 1,081 (down from 1,084), with a rate of 455.4 (down from 456.7); and Wigan 1,489 (down from 1,516), with a rate of 453 (down from 461.3).

There have been two new virus-related deaths at Salford Royal Hospital.

Meanwhile, a new survey from YouGov reveals that 80% of people in the UK say that they will have the COVID-19 vaccination (11% 'Don't know' and 9% said 'No'), the second highest in the world.

Thailand came top with 83% saying they would have the vaccination, while Denmark came third (70%) and Mexico fourth (68%). Second bottom in the world table is France with only 39% of people surveyed saying they will have the jab, while America is sixth bottom, with only 47% saying they will have the vaccination (see graph for full details).

On a lighter note, sex and relationship coach Lucy Rowett says that the stress from the pandemic and lockdown can lead to more sexy dreams...

"Because of the undue stress we've all been under, you may have experienced more intense sexual dreams or dreams that you didn't use to have pre-pandemic" she says "There can be any number of reasons behind our dreams, but try not to worry about the content. Your erotic subconscious is infinite, and can often present scenarios that you'd never think about doing in real life, and that's ok!

"Sometimes dreams can be your subconscious mind's way of processing difficult emotions, while other times they can be a sign of something that isn't being expressed or a need that's not being met" she explains.

Lucy has partnered with FromMars which has surveyed over two thousand UK adults to reveal the most common sex dreams and their meanings...

• 46% of woman have had a dream that their partner has been unfaithful, compared to 33% of men
• Men are more likely to dream about their ex-partner, with 44% admitting to this compared to 38% of women
• Women are more likely to fantasise about celebrities, with 44% having a raunchy dream about someone famous
• 47% of men admit to having a sex dream about one of their colleagues
• 20% of couples have argued with their partner about a sex dream, and 10% have broken up

Here's the meaning of common sex dreams according to FromMars...

Your partner has cheated on you – 'This isn't always about the sex, but could instead be a sign that you're feeling anxious or insecure. Perhaps you feel you're not spending enough quality time with your partner, or are jealous of the time they're spending with someone else.'

You and your partner have broken up – 'This could be a sign that you have reservations about part of your relationship, or feel there's something missing. If you're not in a relationship but having this dream, it could be caused by a fear of abandonment.'

You've been naked in a public place – 'Rather than symbolising a desire to actually be naked in public, this common dream is more likely to relate to feeling embarrassed about something other people may not know, and can reflect feelings of vulnerability or inferiority.'

You've been unable to perform sexually – 'More often than not this sort of dream isn't actually about sex. Dreams about sexual inadequacy can often be tied back to feelings of stress and anxiety and can be a sign you need to let something go.'

You've had a sexual experience involving BDSM – 'Depending on what role you play in the dream, you might be wanting to feel more in control of something, or to give up control entirely. While these feelings can be sexual, they could also be linked to other parts of your life.'

Nobody has died of flu related viruses the last 10 months. In a normal year in the UK, about 30,000 to 60,000 people mainly elderly people sadly die from flu related viruses.. Testing sites for this virus allegedly from Wuhan are all empty. (I look at the sites regularly). Lots and lots of YouTubers(Marti blagborough, pinac reports, Kieran beaver foster, Oldham) have videos of the testing sites empty. The government are saying there is over 50,000 positive tests a day, so that must mean there is about a million tests a day at these testing places. On this jib jab vaccine I know most people (60%) will take it. I can't go on about the truths about the jib jab vaccine because SS would publish it. I'm off to watch another Carl vernon and Hugo talks on YouTube. How come people now say at the end of the conversation "be safe".

Wrote, I have had covid. I got Ill on the 11th of July and was ill for forty five days. My illness entailed these symptoms. First, three days of terrible fever, headaches and fatigue. I Spent those first three days sleeping, only getting up to have a piss and feed my cats. After that I had low grade fevers and extreme fatigue for forty two days. Just going from Magnolia Court to the precinct to buy some ringos was exhausting ... Then I got better. Fourteen days after becoming ill I tried getting a test done. It was impossible for me to get one on the NHS.gov website as the nearest place available to me, according to the website was in Middleton, and was fully booked up for months in advance. Equally I couldn't get a home testing kit sent to me, as even though I gave my address, email, NI number, date of birth and NHS number, their system couldn't verify my identity. Like I say, I suspect that I've had it, although I can't prove it, and yes, if I get it again, I don't want any treatment. Nor will I be taking several vaccines per year for the rest of my life. Also, I don't take flu vaccines, nor any other medications. This is just how I am.

Here is a conspiracy theory for you! Rossi was abducted by aliens. After he had been gang probed, they put a metal chip up his nose and conditioned him to post crap on here every time he sees the word "COVID" . Once he sees his name up in the comments he has been conditioned to salivate like one of Pavlovs dogs and treat himself to a packet of Ringos.

Rossi says, "we all need to take responsibility!" Will be take his own advice and stop being a self-obsessed, misanthropic failure?

@Rossi: “People need to take responsibility for their own lives and actions” I’m assuming you’d be ok if the Gov suddenly decided you’re not their responsibility, relieving you of all your benefits and should look after yourself? Also, if we’re going to let our immune systems deal with C-19 then maybe we should stop Flu jabs, antibiotics, chemo etc? You’re argument is laughable. And Darren, yes it is individual choice, the Gov has said this repeatedly. If the Gov and other countries require proof before leaving or entering them then why shouldn’t they? Why would they want you and Rossi going there possibly spreading C-19? The same way why you wouldn’t want anyone coming here by plane, like you’ve both mentioned in your conspiracy bollocks “Why are the airports still open! Something doesn’t add up!” Such a pair of fucking simpletons.

@idiotbornandbred Every single member of my wifes NHS rapid response team have now had their Covid vaccine. Interesting that medical staff are queuing up for it, but say you won't be. When you get it, I hope you don't start bleating on about how ill you are.

The Vaccine isn't the answer. People go on about it like it's the Holy Grail. The answer is the bodies own immune system. The body simply has to fight the virus the way that our bodies have always fought viruses. If for most people who get it, morbid obesity is the final nail in the coffin, then the answer is to lose some weight while you have time. People need to take responsibility for their own lives and actions, and stop putting all of their desperate hope in "The Vaccine".

Gee wiz! That’s a change of content today. I guess our editor is fed up of Covid stats and needs a change like we all do. There was a little celebration today with stats going DOWN. We are all really trying so great ; it’s worth it . We are saving lives. Soon our dreams will be real........sunshine, good health, fewer worries and no masks. We just have to keep to rules and our dreams will materialise. Vaccines are there waiting for us all; won’t be long!

I speak with a lot of people everyday and 40% of em have told me they will not be taking this jib jab vaccine. It's people's choice. The government and the rulers of the world will bring in a law later this year that you have to carry a identify card with you at all times that will have all your information on and it will also have medical information to show you have had the jib jab vaccine. The police(Gestapo police) can scan it to find out who you are and the doctor's can scan it to find out your medical history. The identity card will also be used to get in all public places including supermarkets, banks, train stations and airports, meaning if you haven't got a identify card or haven't took the jib jab vaccine you will not be allowed to go out your everyday business. At the end of the day it's people choice.

SALFORD STAR – 15 YEARS OF ATTITUDE AND LOVE XXX

The Salford Star closes tonight after 15 years of giving the community a voice, holding power to account and bigging up all the great things that have happened in the city.

Thousands of people in Salford have been involved in one way or another with the Star and we'd like to thank them all. Salford is a very special city and, hopefully, we've given it a very special community publication.

THREATS, LIES, FEAR AND LOATHING IN SALFORD...

Today, the Salford Star shuts down but we write this article as a warning to others who may follow on the pitfalls of founding a genuine publication that aims to give the community a voice and hold public bodies up to account.

They will try to discredit you, block information and shut you down. Here the Salford Star editor, Stephen Kingston, looks at how democracy perished badly under the Salford mayoral system.

THE HUMAN COST OF REGENERATION

The Griffiths brothers of Higher Broughton are kind of infamous as the only people to be forcefully evicted from their house as part of the Pathfinder 'housing market renewal' project during the first decade of the 21st Century.

Here, Guy Griffiths, now living in 'sunny' north Wales and one of the main inspirations for the Salford Star's creation, writes the second part his own personal view of the Government project that devastated communities throughout Central Salford.
