The Manchester International Festival (MIF) has joined forces with Paradise Works arts studio for a project called Festival in My Neighbourhood, which aims to capture how people living in East Salford lived during the lockdown.
Anyone wanting to submit something can use a mobile phone or computer webcam to produce a video, or can submit photos or a piece of writing talking about anything lockdown related...day-to-day life, how people stayed positive, new activities, online communities, whatever...
"We'll edit the videos into a film, premiering towards the end of the year, that paints a unique portrait of East Salford and the people who live within it – separated by lockdown but reunited by film into one community" state the organisers.
The deadline for submissions is 31st August and for more details see the MIF website – click here
