Salford has recorded no new confirmed cases of coronavirus as the total stays at 977 for the third consecutive day. Over half of all Greater Manchester areas have seen no new virus cases, with just 14 new confirmed cases in the whole of the ten local areas...
Confirmed virus cases in Manchester now total 1,727 (up from 1,720), followed by Wigan with 1,232 (same), Oldham 1,152 (same), Stockport 1,089 (same), Bolton 1,058 (up from 1,055), Trafford 883 (up from 882), Rochdale 881 (same), Tameside 866 (up from 863) and Bury 815 (same).
Salford Royal Hospital recorded no new virus-related deaths. This is the fourth time in five days with no new virus cases in Salford or virus-related deaths at Salford Royal Hospital.
