Salford has seen just two new confirmed cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 940, up from 938 the previous day.
Elsewhere in Greater Manchester, the number of cases in Manchester now total 1,607 (up from 1,597), followed by Wigan with 1,212 (up from 1,210), Stockport 1,055 (same), Oldham 1,092 (up from 1,091), Bolton 1,028 (up from 1,025), Trafford 835 (up from 830), Rochdale 815 (up from 810), Bury 774 (up from 771) and Tameside 751 (up from 745).
Happily there were no new deaths at Salford Royal Hospital.
Meanwhile, Clifton Primary School has now closed until next Wednesday 10th June, due to a child being 'unwell on the premises'. Salford City Council states that it's "taking medical advice from public health". It's not known whether this is linked to cornavirus or not.
