ANTI-BREXIT BILLBOARD APPEARS IN SALFORD

Star date: 25th March 2019 LED BY DONKEYS BILLBOARD ON CLAREMONT ROAD Anti-Brexit campaigners, Led By Donkeys, have erected a billboard on Claremont Road featuring a quote by Economists For Brexit stating that the car industry is going to have to be 'run down' in the event of Brexit, like the steel and coal industries... To coincide with the march of over one million people in London at the weekend demanding a 'People's Vote' on Brexit, the anti-Brexit Led By Donkeys campaign group has erected a billboard on Claremont Road in Salford giving out more Anti-Brexit messages. The group, founded by four dads in January, is an entirely crowdfunded grassroots campaign which takes the historic Brexit pronouncements of political leaders, turns them into tweets and puts them on large billboards across the nation. The Salford board gives a quote by Patrick Minford, leading voice of Economists For Brexit... "You are going to have run it down (the car industry)...in the same way we ran down the coal and steel industries. These things happen..." Similar boards are on display in Rochdale and Manchester, with Manc one featuring a quote from Andrea Leadsom and Economists for Brexit, who said that "Over time, if we left the EU, it seems likely that we would mostly eliminate manufacturing…". It's also the same organisation that is currently following Nigel Farage's ill-fated March To Leave with one advertising van displaying what it calls "the lies and hypocrisies of Nigel Farage", and another 'repurposed' to search for Farage in London after he 'bailed out' of his own march. | Has anyone been following the recent controversy over the Chinese Telecoms Company,Huawei and the introduction of 5G Telephony in Britain? It sheds an
interesting insight on the true motivations/true interests of prominent Tory Brexiteers,such as Johnstone,Raab and Javid.
In the course of laying out their programme to the Tory Herenvolk,the Tory Brexiteers who make so much hypocritical prattle about sic,"defending Britain's national interests",in the same breath promise to capitulate to American demands that Britain excludes Huawei from supplying equipment necessary for implementing 5G in Britain. In reality,the Tory Brexiteer Likely Lads have publicly declared that they "are prepared to take it up the arse for Donald!"
Just goes to show that if you scratch the surface of a Brexiteer you'll find a cringing lackey
of US Imperialism!

| There was interesting analysis in yesterday's Observer about the typical Brexit Party Supporter.
Apparently they are " Left" on issues of economic justice and "Right" on social matters!
Regardless of the promises of Farage,there is
no way,socially speaking,that the clock can be turned back. Social modernisation,including migration,is part and parcel of living in a modern economy.
The Brexit Party is peddling reactionary fairy tales that can never be delivered! |

| I can't understand why Leave voters only read one or two newspapers? I'm trying to read as much as I can, from international news to economists' reports, trying to understand what's happening to our country. I've even ploughed through some of ERG's analyses. It's difficult to have a sensible argument when I read so many Leave comments that are either illogical or based on misinformation. |

| We have already endured 11 years of Tory austerity. Another 5 to 10 years to sort out our Country and bring accountability back is a small price to pay. We knew this when we voted Leave, yet now the swine who had no qualms about enforcing austerity onto us, have a pang of conscience about another 5 to 10 years of upset (read reorganising our economy so it doesnt just benefit them), and as such overules your democratic voice and instruction.

| The people had a vote and voted to leave, this decision should be honoured we have nothing to fear by leaving. This is an attempt to erode democracy. What happens if a second vote is 51 to 49 to remain, do we have a third vote? Leave means leave. |

Within months of joining, shipping,mining and steel all went abroad. Now the Stock exchange and Banking will be transferred to Germany in two years,costing thousands of UK jobs. |
