Everyone knows of all the good deeds in Salford that don't get reported or recognised – from neighbours looking after the elderly, to people helping the homeless, mentoring kids or organising charity events.
Now, the Good Deeds of Salford project, co-ordinated by The Lower Kersal Young People Group, is aiming to gather many of these stories and collate them into a publication to show the very best side of the city.
The organisers are looking for people of all ages to highlight in the publication, and, although it is set mainly around Lower Kersal and East Salford, anyone from around the city can be nominated for inclusion.
The only requirement is for the person who is named to be interviewed and photographed.
Any stories that don't make the publication will be featured on a special Good Deeds of Salford web page.
