Can Salford people get Shinny's Christmas Number 1 single to the top of the charts in time for Christmas? If everyone spends less than a quid downloading it, the dream will come true.

The video, with Shinny resplendent in a Salford Star t-shirt, also stars Bez, Mike Sweeney, Tina Malone, Jodi Latham, Saira Choudhry, Will Rush and Maddie Morgan. There's a lovely Christmas story of booze, sex and quarrels going off behind the catchy song – with a very feel good ending!

20p from every sale goes straight to Macmillan Cancer Support... "This is also your vote towards us standing together against media manipulation and commercial music productions like XFactor!" says Shinny who is taking on the big pop gurus with the tune.

Watch the video, download the Christmas Number 1 and make Salford feel good this festive season!
