ANTHONY GRAINGER MOTHER PLEA NOT TO PREJUDICE INQUEST

Star date: 23rd March 2013 PRE-INQUEST HEARING INTO DEATH OF ANTHONY GRAINGER Anthony Grainger's mother, Marina Schofield, and his step father, John Schofield, have issued a `hands off' statement to campaigners following the Pre-Inquest hearing into his death. Via their solicitors, Marina and John have urged that `nothing should be done to prejudice either the ongoing Inquest or the potential criminal proceedings arising from this matter'. Anthony Grainger's mother and step father, Marina and John Schofield, have issued a press statement, via Farleys Solicitors, following the Pre-Inquest hearing into the death of Anthony Grainger held on Thursday 14th March. The statement reads… "Mr and Mrs Schofield wish to disassociate themselves with the recent publicity relating to their son's death. They also wish to stress that they are in no way connected with the `Justice for Grainger' campaign and wish to disassociate themselves from this. John and Marina are happy to talk with the press at the appropriate juncture but at the present time believe that nothing should be done to prejudice either the ongoing Inquest or the potential criminal proceedings arising from this matter."
Unarmed Anthony Grainger, from Lower Broughton, was shot dead by Greater Manchester Police on 3rd March 2012.

| looks like the person doing all the shouting about how wrong the police are is actualy not the man that anthony graingers mother wants as a family member or to front this campain ??
Wesley ahamed looks like the cancer that will bring this case down all by himself he should have more respect for anthony's family ( mother )

| mr insider i have not been involved for months in the campaign i wanted to persue it through the leagal system when certain members of my family will not do as i ask its sad anthony was my son iwas is next of kin i should have the say what i want to be done and bob shut up 12 members of the jury found the other 2 not guilty enough said !!! |

| Marina and John have their views which clearly have to be accounted for, nobody in the Justice 4 Grainger Campaign wants to do anything that can prejudice the legal process. But the only reason people know about the killing of Anthony is because of the Campaign. The only reason that the show trial against the two people who were in the car with Anthony when he was killed, and by implication a show trial of Anthony, collapsed with the jury reaching a not guilty verdict in less than an hour, was because of the Campaign. And 'steve E' clearly doesn't know what he is talking about. |

| Why al the secrecy now? For months this family have been spouting off about this death and now all is quiet? Why has Wesley been cut off by the family? Perhaps we could have some answers then we may (?) start listening! |

| The whole campaign has been hijacked by various political and acivists groups so I don't blame them. I have little faith the groups will pay any attention though. |
