Manchester vibes are back in the area on Thursday as Night People on Princess Road in Manc-land gets transformed into a Hacienda style environment for an immersive screening of the top film 24 Hour Party People, starring Steve Coogan as Tony Wilson.

"Sit amongst the hazard tape with glow stick in hand, as you explore the story of Joy Division, the Happy Mondays, the Haçienda, Factory Records and of course, Tony Wilson" state the organisers "Whether you were there at the time, or just wished you were there, after the film you can shake it like Bez at the Madchester after party...So don your bucket hat, applaud the DJ and don't let love tear you apart..."

Fancy dress is encouraged – 'think bucket hats, tie dye and smiley faces' – and tickets include entry to Night People, the film screening, popcorn and rave props.

Sounds a fun night and all proceeds from the event will go to Child.org, an international children's charity giving children living in some of the poorest countries an equal chance at life.
