As Valentine's Day approaches, Salford Precinct is sprinkling the passion with Salford cupids arriving today (3rd) and next Saturday, 10th February, carrying out random acts of kindness, including buying drinks for shoppers and encouraging them to enter a Share The Love competition.

The cupids will be urging people to fill out forms saying why a loved one deserves to win £50 of prizes - a Max Spielmann canvas worth £25 and a £25 Argos voucher – and to post it in a special Love Letter Post Box.

Forms can be obtained from the Precinct or downloaded from the Salford Shopping Centre website (click here), and the winner will be announced on 12th February.

"We want our centre to be at the very heart of the community and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this than by inviting shoppers in for some great activities" says Centre Manager Sabri Marsaoui.

"All of our retailers are so excited about our Love Letter Post Box running on the lead up to Valentine's and can't wait to welcome everyone in to take part in the competition" she adds.

Over the coming months, the Precinct is also hosting story-telling sessions on 3rd March as part of World Book Day celebrations, inviting children to come dressed as their favourite story book character, while on 10th March the Creation Station returns helping kids to make something special for their mums ahead of Mother's Day.
