SALFORD LADS CLUB PLAYS HOST TO AN EVENING WITH PETER HOOK

Star date: 25th September 2016

HOOKY COMES BACK TO ORDSALL

Substance: An Evening with Peter Hook
Saturday 15th October 8pm
Salford Lads' Club £10

Salford Lads' Club is to play host to Hooky who will be in-conversation talking about his early life with Joy Division and New Order, the recent Hacienda Classical nights and his much awaited third book, Substance: Inside New Order.

Hooky is heading back to his ancestral home of Ordsall to chat about, well, everything at Salford Lads' Club on Saturday 15th October. It's an extra date for Substance: An Evening with Peter Hook, which sold out immediately for the night at The Albert Square Chop House.

Hooky will be in-conversation with Dianne Bourne, from the Manchester Evening News, who suggested that he write a book about his life and times. Now, with two brilliant best sellers behind him documenting the Hacienda and Joy Division, and the third expose, Substance: Inside New Order, about to be unleashed, the night should be gripping, to say the least.

"This in-conversation event will be a rare opportunity to hear Pete talk openly to an audience in an intimate setting" state the organisers "He is a keen supporter of Salford Lads' Club, having grown up in the area, and continues to lend his support to the club's development."

After the interview, there will be a chance for the audience to ask Hooky questions themselves, and signed copies of Substance will be available to buy on the night.
